Yesterday ///
In 2004 do.phunk started as so.phunk. First the whole thing was more like a small once a month sunday evening get together at the WIRR underground in Vienna.
The thing got bigger. So from 2005 the rather calm sunday-so.phunk turned into the do.phunk – bringing the dazzling party vibes to the WIRR underground.
Up to 2008 do.phunk gained a lot of phunkyness. Soon the WIRR burst at the seams – the do.phunk party express had to move to a bigger site, the precious Ragnarhof.
The Ragnarhof is al cultural center and currently one of Viennas trendiest party places – situated at Grundsteingasse 12 in Viennas 16th district.
Today ///
The new location is a blast, the site is a bit run down, but that makes it so damn ace. Do.phunk is proud to currently be the Ragnarhof’s only regular club event – from March happening monthly, every second saturday.
Always on two floors /
The main floor, still bringing together the funky and fresh sounds from all sorts of electronic music genres, making the crowd go crazy.
And on the more chilled out second floor, the „Schmusesalon“. Serving delicious bossa nova, soul, jazz and other more down tempoish music styles in a relaxed atmosphere.
